We have the knowledge and the talents to take care of all your industrial, commercial, agricultural, and general restoration projects. Also we have technicians experienced in truck and trailer repairs and maintenance. We strive to provide the highest quality work and pride ourselves on our customer service. Every project big or small that has been entrusted to us is very important and we hope all our hard work shows in the finished project.

Randy Amosson

The owner and glue of RPM! Randy got his love for restorations at a very young age- 15 to be exact. In the past you may have seen this guy in a Bandag uniform or sporting a John Deere logo, until the dream of owning his own business has become a reality. Randy and his wife of over 30 years, Chris, have two children both living in Dubuque. Randy’s hobbies include driving his 1970 “Plum Crazy” purple Charger, (which has owned for over 40 years) and spending time with his family.

Steve Suchomel

Steve is a native to the Cedar County area. In high school he attended an autobody class and he was hooked. This led to opening his own Autobody & Collision Repair business, that he continued for over 30 years. In 2018 he joined our team as Lead Paint & Body Technician. His avid hunting and fishing skills keep him busy when he is not working. You may know Steve by the name C.B. or Machine Gun.

Curtis Kuehl

Curtis was raised on a farm with two brothers, where he started driving his first tractor when he was five and has been working on equipment ever since he could walk. He spent eleven years working as a John Deere technician. As our Operations Manager and Lead Technician he oversees every project from beginning to end. In his spare time, he stays busy with farming, custom baling, plowing snow and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Christine Amosson

The one that supports Randy’s dream! Randy’s partner of almost 35 years, Christine, works part-time on our administrative, financial and bookkeeping needs. She works full-time for Fidelity Bank & Trust as Officer of Customer Support.

Faron Drager

Faron is our Head Media Blaster, does bodywork and also is a paint technician. He attended Scott Community College and received an AAS degree in Auto Collision Repair. He joined us after working for eight years as a media blaster and paint technician for a company in Cedar Rapids. We are very lucky to have such an experienced tech on our crew. Faron and his family live in Bennett. In his spare time you can see him rolling down the road on his custom-painted motorcycle.

Alec Amosson

Alec is the RPM Revival Creative Director. He helps us part-time with our website, social media and other marketing needs. Alec is the Director of Worship for the Grand View United Methodist Church in Dubuque and is the son of Randy and Chris. He recently added husband to his list of duties with his marriage to Staci.

Pat Helmold

Pat grew up on a farm near Tipton and learned many hands-on skills from her dad. She currently lives just outside of Tipton on an acreage with her husband and daughter. She brings to RPM previous experience as an office manager for a painting & sandblasting business. As our Office Manager she manages the finances, marketing and gives support for the RPM Crew in many ways. She enjoys working with customers and discovering what projects they need help restoring or repairing. When not at work she enjoys gardening, hiking and most of all spending time with her two grandchildren (and their parents, too!)

CHANCE REED

Chance grew up on his family acreage in rural Stockton. He joined us after working for his family’s lawn service. He has many skills he uses throughout our operation. He does a great job as a Technician in our Truck & Trailer Repair Shop, as well as support for blasting and paint projects. You can’t miss him when he is driving his custom purple truck!

JAKE MILLER

Jake joined RPM as a Paint and Body Technician. Originally from Dixon, Iowa he has had a long history of painting and restoring tractors. He started restoring tractors with his family at 8 years old and soon found his spot in the booth as a painter. He has been on TV shows with his family such as Timeless Tractor on Iowa Public Television and Ageless Iron on Successful Farming. Recently his family tractor museum was featured in a Red Power magazine article. After many years of showing tractors at fairs he decided to perfect his skills by attending Kirkwood Community College, completing the Automotive Collision & Repair as well as the Automotive Electricity courses. Since then he has painted many projects and has added new skills which include building custom vehicles. This involves installing aftermarket parts as well as automotive electronics and wiring to add many custom features. Traveling nationwide to truck shows (in his spare time) has given him an opportunity to display his award-winning custom truck “Black Pearl”, which he has gone above and beyond with installing custom lights and custom painting.

NATHAN NABB

Nathan has grown up being a part of his family farm operation. While working for us as a summer intern we discovered what a hard worker he is and would tackle every job we gave him! He works part-time at RPM while finishing school. When not at school or work he helps as much as he can on the farm and is also active in 4-H.

JEANNE STAATS

Jeanne lived in the Durant area until grade school and then while growing up spent every summer on the Durant family farm. The farm, which raised cattle, pigs and crops, became a Century farm in 2019. She worked at a John Deere dealership for 21 years as a service writer, followed by 3 ½ years also as a service writer for a Case dealership. As our Service Administrator, she uses her skills in customer service and technician support to help our Truck & Trailer Shop run smoothly. She lives in Muscatine with her fiancé and two Dachshund dogs. When she is not at work, you can find her cooking, working with her flowers and also working at the family farm.

MATT O’NEIL

Matt grew up in the town of Downey. He worked alongside his Dad and Grandpa on their family’s Century Farm outside of Oasis. At an early age he loved to spend time in the shop helping with projects, repairing equipment and anything else. Along with the hands-on experience in the shop, he developed his artistic talents that he has used in many ways. In 2001 he completed the Automotive Technology program at the Universal Technical Institute. He worked as a mason for 15 years, incorporating his art background for specialty projects from large to small using brick and stone. Later he learned stone carving, which his work can be found in many places around our area. He met the RPM Revival crew during the restoration of his grandfather’s 1946 Chevy truck, which led to the decision to join RPM as a Service Technician in our Truck and Trailer shop with technical support for all our other projects. In his spare time over the years, he has painted large murals, enjoys carving projects, along with restoring lawnmowers. He also is on a Pit Crew for a very successful MLRA Late Model race team. Along with mechanical work, he uses his talents for vinyl graphics and fabrication work for the car. He lives in Tipton and enjoys teaching kids many dying hands on trades, that they will hopefully pass on.
